Two Tucker County Players Make Class “A” Football All State List

The Mt. Lions placed 2 players on the Class “A” Football All-State List that was announced Monday morning by the press. Senior Austin Zirk made the second team list as a Defensive back. Zirk also played quarterback on offense for Tucker County. Also making the list as an Honorable Mention selection was Senior Cory Hanlin. Hanlin was a key blocker at the Tackle position on the offensive line and also played the tackle position on the defensive line. Tucker County fell in the first round of the Class “A” Playoffs to Madonna, the Blue Dons went on to capture the Class “A” State Championship on Dec 7th.
