Tucker Valley’s baseball squad traveled to Petersburg last week for its sole game of the week. Tucker struggled at the plate for most of the game, registering just three hits, which came late in the game by Wade Boyles, Bentley Haddix, and Quinton Teter. Petersburg led 1–0 after the 1st, 8–0 after the 2nd, 12–0 after the 3rd, and 14–0 after four innings for the final score. Tucker Valley now sits at 1–1 on the season, with a home matchup against Tygarts Valley coming Wednesday, April 8th at 6:00 p.m.
