The Lady Wildcats Softball team took on Central Preston Middle School last week at Camp Kidd. The Wildcats started off slowly notching one run in the first inning but held the Lady Squires scoreless after one. Tucker got the bats rolling in the second getting in six runs to Preston’s one.
The Wildcats would continue the trend and roll in six more while holding Central scoreless to hold a 13-1 lead after 3 innings played. Tucker Valley would put the game away early, scoring five more runs while the Squires only managed two for a final score of 18-3 in favor of the Wildcats.
Mia Lambert would find home plate four times, while Morgan Simmons, Avery Decker, and Aryanna Neville all found their way home three times. Tucker Valley will be back in action on April 15th at Barbour County, first pitch is set for 6:00pm.
