The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball JV and Varsity teams traveled to Robert L Bland Middle School in Weston to compete in a Holiday Tournament last weekend.
On Dec 27th the JV team squared off against Robert L Bland and lost the contest 66-22. Easton Snyder led Tucker Valley with 8 points and Alec Cummings added 6 points. The Varsity team faced Buckhannon in their first game of the tournament and fell 52-17. Luke Poling had 7 points for the Wildcats and Seth Dotson and Jordan Moss added 4 points each.
Tucker Valley then played a pair of games on Dec 28th at Robert L Bland Middle School. The JV team dropped their game against Washington Irving in a close contest 30-28. The Wildcats were led by Shane Humphrey and Easton Snyder with 6 points each. The Tucker Valley Varsity team played Robert L Bland on the same day and also fell by the final score of 39-27. Cameron Wamsley paced the Wildcats with 7 points and Corrick Ambrose added 6 points.
