WILDCATS FOOTBALL FALLS TO LINCOLN ON THE ROAD 44-22

SHINNSTON – The Tucker Valley Middle School Football team traveled to Lincoln Middle on Wednesday September 31st.  The Wildcats fell in the contest by the final score of 44-22.

 

Lincoln held the lead after the first quarter 12-6 Lincoln.  The second quarter also belonged to Lincoln as they led 20-6 at the halftime break.  Each team would score in the third quarter to make the score 28-14 after three quarters of play.  Tucker Valley was unable to complete the comeback as Lincoln extended their lead in the fourth quarter as Tucker Valley fell in the contest 44-22.  

 

Luke Barb led Tucker Valley with a 57 yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a 38 yard touchdown run in the third quarter.  Ty Ricottilli added a 36 yard touchdown run for Tucker Valley in the fourth quarter.  Barb finished the game with 171 yards rushing, 29 yards passing and 12 tackles on defense.  Brayden Bennett had 1 catch for 20 yards receiving and Ricottilli added 53 yards rushing, 9 yards receiving.  Ben Gooden had 8 tackles and Cayden Arnold added 7 tackles on defense.
