The Tucker Valley Wildcats were scheduled to travel to the Pocahontas County Warriors last Wednesday, however, due to a school threat to Pocahontas County Schools, the game was forced to be canceled with no intent of rescheduling.
Tucker Valley’s JV squad traveled to Elkins this past Saturday to take on the Hornets. The young group struggled offensively, managing just one score that came in the second half on a 65-yard touchdown run by Rhys Hovatter, with the conversion by Zane Carr. The Wildcats gave up 38 points in the fight, however, numerous young contributors were able to make an impact on the game and get involved in the action. Tucker Valley fell 38-8 in the JV contest. The varsity squad will return home to Parsons Thursday night to take on conference opponent, Tygarts Valley with kickoff scheduled for 6 PM.
