The Tucker Valley boys basketball team hosted the Pendleton County Wildcats last week in Hambleton. Tucker Valley shot out to an early 17-5 lead over the Wildcats before extending that lead to 30-14 before halftime. Tucker doubled up Pendleton in the third period, holding a 52-25 lead going into the fourth, where Tucker Valley finished the job 70-38.
Wildcats’ 8th grader Quinton Teter had himself a night, hitting five triples for a total of 28 points, followed by fellow 8th grader Titus Bowley with 19 points and Blake Holland with 9 points. Tucker will return to the gym on Monday, January 26th, to host the Harman Panthers.
