Deputy Sheriff Inducted into Who’s Who

Tucker County Sheriff’s Deputy C.A. Teter,

Christopher A. Teter, Tucker County Deputy Sheriff, is the recipient of The Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Award.  He was anonymously nominated and at first thought it was a scam.  He said, “I was not rude to the lady that called me, but I questioned her thoroughly.”

Teter has been employed by the Tucker County Sheriff’s office for four years.  He graduated from Elkins High School in 2002 and received a Who’s Who Award while in high school.  He worked at the Randolph County Jail for four years and graduated from the West Virginia State Police Academy in 2009. He has also taken courses thru Bridgewater.

He is the son of David and Arlene Teter of Elkins and currently lives on Blackman’s Flats with his wife Angela, daughter Vivianna age nine, and sons Colton who is five and Quinton is two years old.  Teter is affiliated with the Freemasons and his hobbies are; hunting, fishing, family and community activities.

The plaque that Teter received reads as follows; The recipient named above, Christopher A. Teter, is included in the 2013 edition.

Acceptance is granted to individuals who have exemplified leadership and achievement in their occupation, industry or profession.
