Happy Thanksgiving to All.
Well that time of year is here, turkey, ham, stuffing and all the fixins’. I don’t know if I have ever said, but I love to eat. But I want good homemade food, not this cardboard stuff the fast food joints pass off as food. Momma Said, “Food is good for the soul.” And I believe that, if you eat good wholesome food, your outlook on life is much better.
My only problem is, I get hungry but I don’t know what I want to eat. Now, for a holiday it is a no brainer. Of course it is going to be ham or turkey. This year I am having ham and I will be giving you the recipe in this article. So you can use the oven for all the other important stuff like pies, rolls and sweet potatoes. I am also including a super salad recipe as well. Momma Said, “The side stuff is as important as the main dish.”
I hope everyone has a great family get together and stays safe. Blessed traveling mercies for everyone on the road and in the air, stay safe and reach your destination for great family time. Don’t forget to include our military in your prayers and I hope they all stay safe as well. Take time to spend with the family, all that shopping can wait for another day. Momma Said, “Family is much more important, so spend your time wisely.”
