DONNA KAY LUDWICK ROSIER, age 70 years, a resident of Pifer Mountain, WV, departed this life Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home. She had been in declining health.
She was born Saturday, February 14, 1948 at St. George, WV, a daughter of the late Charlie and Marie Ludwick. On December 17, 1967 at Mt. Lake Park, MD, she was married to Rodney Dale “Sug” Rosier, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Rodney Dale Rosier, Jr. of Bretz and Ricky Scott Rosier and wife Jennifer of St. George; two daughters, Roxanna Marie Waybright of Belington and Roxcella Dale Owens and husband Brian of St. George; one sister, Margie Miller of Painsville, OH; and eight grandchildren, Bethany, Shane, Ryan, Racheall, Kaydence, Blake, Kyleigh and Brantlee; and one niece, Allison Ludwick.
Preceding her in death are one son, Rocky Allen Rosier; infant twin grandchildren, Kaedyn Alan and Kristopher Alan Scott Rosier; four brothers; Kenneth Charles Ludwick, Marshall George Ludwick, Arthur Henry Ludwick and Harold Simon Ludwick; three sisters. Arthelia Marie Ludwick, , Opal Madeline Ludwick, Elva Gladys Ludwick.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1967. She was an employee of the Tucker County Board of Education, where she worked as Secretary at the St. George School and Tucker County High School, retiring during 2009. Donna Kay enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family.
The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. Donna Kay’s request for cremation will follow.
