Eleanor Louise “Ellie” Foster Huffman, age 92 years, a resident of Parsons, WV, departed this life Sunday evening, December 15, 2019 at Cortland Acres at Thomas, WV. She had been in declining health.
She was born Sunday, March 27, 1927 at Hendricks, WV, a daughter of the late John Daniel and Amanda Johnson Foster.
Surviving are one sister, Carol Joan Foster Thompson of Parsons; special nephew, Foster Thompson and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are one son, Doak Lynn Huffman; and two brothers, John Harvey Foster and Benjamin “Ben” Cornelius Foster, Sr.
She attended Parsons High School. She was a former employee of the Celanese Plant in Cumberland, MD, and the former Dorman Mills. “Ellie” loved cooking and baking and would even take orders after her retirement. She was a lifetime cook, owning and operating the Tucker Sportsgrill, Hills Restaurant and Ellie’s. She also was a cook at the former Tucker Country Inn. She took special care of her Father and her Son.
