Benefit Ramp Dinner
St. John’s United Methodist Church will be holding a benefit dinner for the Steve Swisher family Saturday February 29 from 4 -7 p.m. Ramps, ham, potatoes, corn muffins, beans, and dessert. $10 donation. Everyone welcome.
Lenten Fish Fry
Lenten Fish Fry, Friday February 28, Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St. Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 6 p.m. 8oz. Fish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.
Concealed Weapons Class
There will be a concealed weapons class from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 7 and from 1 – 5 p.m. on March 8 at Blackwater Falls State Park. Sign up online at WVDNR.gov.
Lenten Services
The Parsons Ministerial Association is sponsoring Lenten Services at the Parsons Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Feb. 27, Thursday, March 5, Thursday, March 12. Thursday, March 19, Thursday, March 26 and Thursday, April 2. Starting time for each date is 12:05 p.m. and there will be a luncheon after each service. Everyone is Welcome.
