The Tucker County Senior Citizens held their monthly Outpost at the Parsons Center on April 5, 2022. Evelyn Moore welcomed everyone. Everyone recited the Pledge of Allegiance, the Lord’s Prayer, and sang “God Bless America”.

Those having April birthdays were recognized and everyone sang “Happy      Birthday” to them. Those present were: Ruth Bohon and Rita Roberts.

Arlene Ramsey read “A Family Is”, followed by Sylvia Rosenau reading “A Blonde’s Cookbook.” Next we had Eleanor Nestor read “April Showers”, followed by Barb McClain reading “Easter Message.”

Tim Knotts and Debra Stiles introduced themselves as candidates for County Commission.

Debra was our entertainment for the day. She played the piano and the crowd sang along. Selections included: “Amazing Grace,” “What a Day That Will Be,” “In the Garden,” “In Times Like These,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” and “How Great Thou Art.”

Door Prizes were won by: Randolph Lipscomb, Tim Knotts, and Virgil Knotts.

Tim Knotts asked a blessing on our food and we enjoyed a delicious meal.
