CHRISTMAS TRIP TO CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA
We are taking names of those people interested in a Christmas trip to Charleston, SC December 4th through 7th. This 4 day/3 night trip will include 3 breakfasts, 2 dinners, James Island Holiday Festival of Lights, A guided tour of Charleston, Christmas at the Billy Graham Library featuring a live Nativity, and shopping at Charleston’s Historic City Market. Payments of $175 each will be collected on August 2nd, September 6th, and October 4th.
POSSIBLE TRIP TO ADALAND
We are considering a possible trip to Adaland Mansion in Philippi on August 10thfor an Arts and Craft Celebration. This will give you a chance to buy some new decorations for your home or perhaps start your Christmas shopping early. If you are interested, please call 304-478-2423 and get your name on the list. The price to ride the van is $5 per person, first come, first serve according to the list.
WVU FOOTBALL GAME
We are taking names of people interested in going to the WVU football game on October 25, 2018 against Baylor. This is an evening game. The price will be approximately $ 85 to $100 depending on how many people sign up. Our tickets include $6.25 for concessions. ST. GEORGE OUTPOST
Please join us for our monthly Outpost at St. George Methodist Church on Thursday, July 19th at 6 p.m. This is a covered dish dinner with great fellowship and fun. It’s a good time to socialize especially for those who don’t get out of the house much.
PARSONS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
The Parsons Center will have their monthly birthday celebration on Thursday, July 19th beginning with our Goldenaires choir singing at 10:13 a.m. Those having July birthdays will be honored with song and following lunch we will have delicious birthday cake provided by WV Caring.
FLANAGAN HILL OUTPOST
The monthly Outpost at Flanagan Hill will be at noon on Wednesday, July 25th. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join us for great food and fellowship. The Representative from the Attorney General’s office will also be there to answer questions.
PARSONS PAPER PRODUCTS BINGO
We will have our monthly paper products bingo at the Parsons Center on Friday, July 20th after lunch (approximately noon.) Please join us for this fun activity and some fellowship.
