ST. GEORGE OUTPOST
The monthly outpost will be held in St. George on August 18, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please bring your favorite covered dish and enjoy a time of fellowship with other seniors and their guests.
AUGUST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
The Parsons Senior Center will be honoring those with August birthdays on August 18, 2016. Please come and enjoy our Goldenaires as they sing beginning at 10:30 a.m. After the singing, there will be a birthday cake provided by Hospice Care Corp. for all to enjoy.
PAPER PRODUCTS BINGO
The monthly paper products bingo will be on Thursday, August 18th at the Mt. Top Center. Please call the Center at 304-463-4425 if you plan to attend. The Parsons Center will hold their bingo on Friday August 19th.
TRAVEL NEWS
The Travel committee will be collecting payment # 6 for the November Pigeon Forge/Dollywood trip on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. If you cannot come at this time, you may mail your payment or make other arrangements. This will be your final payment.
There is a possibility that we may have some openings for the Pigeon Forge/Dollywood trip. If you are interested, please call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 and put your name on the list. If rooms become available you will be called in the order in which you called the Center.
The travel committee is taking names for a 1 day trip to Ligonier, PA on November 29, 2016. The trip will include the bus, gratuities, a “Country Christmas” musical program, a buffet Christmas luncheon, and a trip to Greensburg, PA to see the Christmas lights at the fairground. The price will be $120.00 and we will be calling those who have put their names on the list in the near future. If you are interested, please call the Center at 304-478-2423 and get your name and phone number on the list.
