The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

Hub Bechtol, of Thomas was charged with one count Petit Larceny.  According to the complaint on June 20 Chief Deputy M.J. Sigley was advised to contact Briana Mumford who works for Wild Ginger and Spice in Davis.  He spoke with her over the phone and she advised him that a male subject namely Hub Bechtol, was in the store on June 19 and allegedly took a necklace.  Sigley then went to the business and spoke to Mumford personally.  She provided a hand written and signed statement saying that on June 19 Hub walked into the store asking about a dress.  She advised that he was acting strange and stumbling at which time he allegedly placed his hand on her back and hovered over her.  She advised that he allegedly gave her co-worker a knife and told her to learn how to use it and play with it.  She stated that they looked at the video surveillance since he was acting strange and noticed him take a necklace off a mannequin and place it in his pocket.  She said the necklace is a round, blue soda light crystal pendant on a black cord string valued at approximately $12.
