City of Parsons Police New

According to a press release from the City of Parsons Police Department on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, the Parsons Police Department received a complaint of dogs being neglected and abused.


The Parsons Police Department, along with the Tucker County Animal Shelter-Kathy Parsons and Animal Control Officer Ricky Rosier responded to 425 Second Street Apt #4, where five dogs, four cats and two Guinea pigs were taken from the residence by animal control and taken to the shelter. Some were taken to the vet for treatment.  William Eston Gill, age 34, was arrested for five counts of animal cruelty, five counts of failure to register animals with the county assessor and five counts of failure to vaccinate animals.
