Grand Opening of Miners and Merchants Bank’s New Location

Miners and Merchants Bank Thomas, WV, held its official opening of their new location at 16000 Appalachian Highway in Thomas on Friday, September 13, 2019. The Ceremony began with F. Renee DiBacco, Fresident & CEO, welcoming all to the bank’s new home. She indicated that the Bank has been in existence serving the area and the surrounding areas since 1902 and that they are very proud to bring the new facility to their customers and the community. She expressed gratitude to so many who have been with there every step of the way, and stated that going forward, they will strive to find the right balance between increasing technological services and products while staying true to their small hometown community environment.

She thanked the other members of her Board: Chairman Milan Nypl, CPA, John W. Cooper Attorney at Law, Linda S. Nichols, Shawn O. Nichols, Gerald H. Parks, Jr., Arther M. Quattro, Jr., and Larry E. Roth stating that they have worked right along side of Management on this Project. She also thanked her staff for their hard work and cooperation during the transition, as well as other individuals who have helped along the way.

Following ttre opening remarks, The National Anthem was performed by Miss Lindsay Hull with the Official Ribbon Cutting, and The Blessing of The Building by Father Timothy Grassi. Refreshments were served following the ceremony and there were three drawings for the door prizes.

Miners and Merchants Bank is a customer-focused bank and offers a variety of services and products to meet the needs of both individuals and businesses. The Bank operates at three convenient locations’ staffed with professional, friendly personnel, at Thomas, WV. Bayard, WV, and Oakland, MD.
