The Tucker County National Honor Society went “Trick-or-Treating” for canned goods on Sunday, Nov. 3 in Davis, Thomas and Parsons.

NHS members, Joannah Dyer, Ben Flanagan and NHS President Emily White collected non-perishable food items in Davis and Thomas. NHS members Courtney Poling, Bethany Friend, Mitchell Mason and Ian Nichols collected in Parsons. The food drive was a huge success.
Members presented the food items to the food pantry in Davis on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to Mrs. Staron and to the Parsons food pantry on Wednesday, Nov. 6 to Mr. Anderson. There was over 200 pounds of food presented to the food pantries.
The NHS members plan their next service project around Christmas to the nursing home.
