The Tucker County High School volleyball team hit the home court Thursday evening, welcoming Preston County for a competitive matchup.

The Mountain Lions showed improvement and had positives to take away from each set, but they were unable to hold off the visiting Knights, as Preston County went on to win all three sets.

Bella Carr led the way for Tucker County, contributing 7 digs and 5 assists in the match.

Tucker County will hit the road Thursday when the girls travel to Lincoln. With the season underway, there is plenty of opportunity for the Mountain Lions to continue building and improving with each match.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch these girls play, you should. There is plenty of energy, effort, and potential on this team, and they are worth watching as the season continues.
