Mr. and Mrs. Larry and Emma Stemple would like to announce the graduation of their grandson, Brent Matthew Gidley, from the 188th Basic Officer Class of the West Virginia State Police Academy on April 1, 2022. Gidley is currently employed at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department in Grafton, as a Deputy Sheriff.
Gidley joins the blue line with his father, LT. David Gidley, of the Parsons Police Department and his brother, Patrolman Nicholas Gidley, also with Parsons Police Department. He is also the grandson of Debbie and the Late Jack Keller of Ohio, and the Late David Gidley Sr. of Parsons. His mother is Lynn Gidley. Gidley is married to Wendy Gidley and together they have four children: Matthew, Rileigh, Isaiah, and Zechariah.
