Guests at Adaland Mansion’s annual Mother’s Day Buffet will be treated to a delicious, mouth-watering meal followed by some of the amazing dessert choices pictured above.  Reservations for the buffet may be made by calling 304-457-1587 and leaving a message with name, number of reservations, and time being reserved.

“We look forward to welcoming many of our regular visitors and many new ones to Adaland’s annual Mother’s Day Buffet on Sunday, May 12 in the beautifully restored 1872 mansion off Rt. 76 four miles north of downtown Philippi,” says an Adaland spokesperson.

Guests to the popular annual buffet may choose from three seatings on this special day:  12:30, 2:15, and 3:45 pm.  Adaland Mansion’s former veteran cook Lucy Williamson has come out of retirement to prepare one of her best-loved meals for Mother’s Day.  She will fill the buffet table with ham and raisin sauce, baked chicken with dressing, cabbage and noodles, parsley red potatoes, green beans, carrots, crisp salad with Lucy’s famous dressing, homemade rolls, and an assortment of cakes and pies for desserts.  All will be topped off with coffee and Adaland’s signature peach tea.

Mouth-watering food, the charming ambiance of the mansion, and gracious hosts will all contribute to making the dinner a very special event for the very special women being honored on Mother’s Day, whether mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, or friends.

To reserve seats for the May 12 buffet, call 304-457-1587 and leave a message including name, the number of people attending, and the time being reserved. People leaving reservation messages will be called to confirm the reservation.  Cost for the dinner is $35 per adult and $15 for children.
