St. John’s Women in Faith held their Mother Daughter Banquet and Memorial Service at the church on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The opening prayer and blessing of food was given by Sarah Bowley.
A Memorial Service was presented by Shelby Kisner for three members who passed away during the past year. Candles were lit for Marijane Martin, Wanda Fike and Mary Grado.
Sally Purnell presented the program on “Women of the Bible” and Rhonda Ends read a poem, “God’s Helpers” by George Wiseman. The choir sang “Prayer Warrior.”
A special recognition pin was presented to Lois Lipscomb and Mother of the Year plaque was presented to Patty Roy.
