River Crossing LLC, located in Thomas offers vintage, shabby, farmhouse and unique items. Owners Judy Pitzer and Sherry Simmons said River Crossing LLC offers the best prices in Tucker County and they hope folks stop by to see their items.

THOMAS – Folks looking for just the right piece for their home, dorm, second home or rental property need to visit River Cross LLC located in Thomas. Owners Judy Pitzer and Sherry Simmons have gathered many unique and useful items including vintage, antiques, shabby, farmhouse and all sorts of other items.

Visitors to the store could spend hours looking at the distinctive pieces from eras of the past and they offer flashlights for those exploring items in the newly renovated attic.

We try to carry items from the 1960s and 1970s. We also have china.”  Items at River Crossings LLC come from many places.

“We try to carry a little bit of everything,” Pitzer said. “We have some of the ‘big brown’ antiques but we also have very popular items such as desks and chairs, doors, windows, tables and glassware items.”

Two items River Crossings LLC has now that are very interesting include a knockdown dresser and a saddle bridal chest. Pitzer said the chest is very large and is a great antique chest. She said the dresser was a popular item of the early 1900s and said it can be disassembled by knocking out the wooden dowels to make it easier to carry up those old, narrow, curvy steps.“We have such a wide variety of clientele and we strive to carry items they need,” Pitzer said. “Our friends from Canaan have second homes and many of them are looking for pots and pans and dressers. Friends from downtown Parsons come here looking for small stands and dressers. We try to carry items from the 1960s and 1970s. We also have china.”
Items at River Crossings LLC come from many places.

“We do go out and pick and we attend many auctions,” Pitzer said. “We buy items from estates and people bring me things when they clean out their garages or they send me a text and ask me to come by and see if we are interested in purchasing items they have.”
Hours at River Crossings LLC vary.

“January and February are usually slow depending on the amount of snow,” Pitzer said. “Right now, we are open noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. When I am off school during the summer we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and will typically be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.”

Other items available include signs, tools, toys, games, puzzles, dishware, bakeware, electronics, knickknacks and older license plates.

“We hope people will stop by and see what we have to offer,” Pitzer said. “Our motto is we have the best prices in Tucker County!”

River Crossing LLC is located just over the bridge at the end of Thomas.

Additional information is available by calling Pitzer at 304-588-3300 or Simmons at 304-580-6831. River Crossing LLC has a Facebook page at River Crossing Thomas WV.
