St. George Senior Citizens gathered at the St. George Community Church on August 17, 2023.  Sharon Daniels led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and asked prayer for the evening and the food.  After a delicious covered dish meal, Sharon gave various readings.  The group played several rounds of bingo for prizes.  Attending were Eileen Wilfong, Betsy Whitehair, Kathy Thomas, Lewis Arnold, Sue Carroll, Dorothy Simpson, Virginia Popio, Mabel Fitzwater, Dale Varner, Anna Fitzwater, April Fitzwater, Raymond Collins, Don Nestor, Pete Kuhn, Arlene Ramsey, Jane Pifer, Becky Corcoran, Carol Weinstein, Janice F. Poling, James C. Poling, Brenda Jones, Betty Sturm, P Ann Flanagan, Carol Knighton, Norm Knighton, Gloria Myers, and Eleanor Nestor.

The Parsons Senior Center provides a van and seniors are always welcome to come, bring a covered dish, and bring a friend.   The next gathering is September 21 at 6:00 pm at the St. George Community Church for food, fun, fellowship, and a presentation by the Tucker County Health Department.
