Betty Marie Williams

Betty Marie Williams, 93, of Thomas, WV passed away April 16, 2016 in her home around family and friends. She had been in declining health and was under the care of Mountain Hospice. She was born February 16, 1923 in Snydertown, PA, a daughter of the late Luella and Charles Hockenbrought. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul S. Williams. Also preceding her in death was one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Trudy Marie Defoyd (Bill) Austin, TX, and a granddaughter Devon Marie Defoyd, Dallas, TX.
Mrs. Williams worked several years at Blackwater Trading Post but has spent most of her life homemaking. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, card games, and spending time with friends. A special thanks to Mountain Hospice, her neighbors at Pineview, and her adopted Prevatte Family. At the request of the deceased, her remains were cremated.
