Beulah Shahan, age 95 has completed this stage of her journey and passed from this life Sunday, December 5, 2021.  Beulah was born October 28, 1926 to Arlie and Henrietta Hershman Myers in St. George, WV.

She was a graduate of Rowlesburg High School.  On October 28, 1949 in Parsons, she married Alton Shahan, who preceded her in death.

Beulah is survived by two children, Jeanette Shahan and Alton Guy Shahan, Jr.

Beulah liked doing sewing, quilting, crocheting, gardening, and canning.  She enjoyed listening to music and singing.  Beulah did child care for many years and was known as “Sha Sha”.

She received the Lord as her savior in a Methodist Church and was baptized in a Baptist church and attended various churches.

Beulah loved flowers and they would be warmly received but in lieu of flowers her children suggest donations in her memory to WVU Foundation, One Waterfront Place, P.O. Box 1650, Morgantown, WV  26507 for diabetic and nephrology research or to Camp Kno Koma, 364 Patteson Drive  #284, Morgantown, WV  26505 for diabetic children.

Friends called at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastors Dan Meadows and Jim Cooley officiated.  Burial followed at Beverly Hills Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
