Delores Ann Varner Pifer, age 80 years, a resident of Tucker County, WV, departed this life Sunday evening, November 13, 2022, at the Hopemont Hospital at Terra Alta, WV.
She was born Monday, April 6, 1942, a daughter of the late Vaden and Alice Varner. She was twice married. First to Frank Jones and second to Dorsey Pifer, both preceded her in death.
Surviving is one daughter, Betty McCauley of Elkins.
Preceding her in death are one son, Robert Jones; son-in-law, Freddy McCauley; and her siblings.
Delores enjoyed going out to eat at Denny’s and talking to the staff at the Hopemont Hospital, where she was well loved.
A graveside service was conducted at the Fairview Cemetery 1, at St. George, WV. On Monday, November 21, 2022, at 10 a.m. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons was in charge of the arrangements for Delores Ann Varner Pifer.
