Douglas Dale Vanover, 58, of Lanesville, WV passed away January 5, 2014 at his home.
He was born June 10, 1955 at Yeager, WV, a son of Estel and Doris Lenora (Jackson) Vanover. He is survived by his wife Robin (Smith) Vanover, one son Ryan Vanover, Lanesville, WV, one daughter April Vanover Ends, Mocksville, NC, one brother Vernon Vanover, Oceana, WV, three sisters, Diana Wyatt, Parsons, WV, Wanda (Max) Cale, Hinton, WV, Karen Wyatt, Richmond, Va.
Mr. Vanover was employed as a surveyor for Mettiki coal mines for 34 years. Mr. Vanover enjoyed music, especially drumming.
Friends were received Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at Red Creek Bethel Church in Lanesville, WV. Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Red Creek Bethel Church with the Rev. John Moyers officiating. Interment followed at Buena Cemetery.
