Glenn Oliver Teets, Sr., 78, of Manassas, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 20, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on July 15, 1935 in Friendsville, Maryland the son of the late Oliver R. and Mary E (Friend) Teets. He was a construction site development supervisor and a US Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara E. Teets; three children, Glenn O. Teets, Jr and wife Valerie of Manassas, Va., Mary Ellen Hayman of Florida, Terry A. Teets of Manassas, Va.; brother, Danny Ray Teets and wife Ellen of McHenry, Md.; ten grandchildren, Curtis Teets and wife Emily, Glenn Teets III, Jason Arrington and wife Brandy, Jacqueline Teets, Mandy Seal and husband Corey, Jennifer Sarrica, Thomas Turner, Zachery Teets and wife Christany, Christopher Teets and Jordan Raines; eight great grandchildren, Hayley Seal, Charlotte Teets, Joey Sarrica, Jacob Sarrica, Emily Arrington, Katelyn Arrington, Tyler Turner and Colton Turner.

Funeral services were be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church, 615 Water Street, Friendsville, Maryland. Interment was in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
