Cornell Lucille Arbogast

Cornell Lucille Arbogast, 85, of Davis, WV passed away December 22, 2013 at her home.

She was born May 22, 1929 in Canaan Valley, WV a daughter of the late Lee Allen and Agnes Peachie Butcher Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Zane Arbogast in 1990. Also preceding her in death was 1 son, Lester Firl, one sister-in-law Barb Firl, two brothers, Robert Reed and Floyd Mullenax Jr., and five sisters, Elsie Pennington, Vivetta Liller, Nancy Hayes, Joann Lipscomb, and Margaret Sell. She is survived by one son Phil (Carleen) Firl, Montrose, WV, three brothers, Harry Truman Reed, Davis, WV, Carlton Reed, Piguia, Ohio, and James Reed, Cleveland, Ohio, two sisters, Sharon Gibson, Fla., and Sue Pardon, Piguia, Ohio, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Ms. Arbogast was employed by Worden’s Restaurant as a cook for many years and later by the City of Davis for several years. She was a member of FOE #936 Ladies Auxiliary and Church of God affiliation. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, and crocheting.

Friends were received December 23, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held December 24, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Hinkle Funeral Home with Rev. Ruth Bullwinkle officiating. Interment followed in the Davis Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
