Gloria Yvonne Simmons Williams, age 61, of Clarksburg, passed away at her home on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.
She was born April 3, 1953 in Parsons, the daughter of the late Edward Clell and Helen E. Kepner Simmons.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School class of 1971. She worked as a manager and waitress at various places, most recently at the FOP restaurant in Clarksburg.
She was married on June 20, 1980 to Joseph Williams, whom survives. Also surviving are four brothers, Edward Clell Simmons, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Preston L. Simmons and wife Kelly, of Parsons, Gregory S. Simmons and wife Randy, of York, Pa., William (Bill) Simmons and wife Sherry of Parsons; five sisters, Gale A. Kuhn and husband David, of Freeport, Fla., Barbara E. Nestor and husband David, of Lexington Ky., Janet M. Denison and husband Lawrence, of Parsons, Debra L. Simmons of Cayce, SC, Teresa K. Simmons, of Parsons and several nieces and nephews.
