This letterhead is from the Mt. Breeze Castle No. 7 Ancient Order Knights of Mystic Chain. The secret society was instituted in Thomas January 1, 1910 and they met each Saturday Night. A. J. Shoemaker was the Scribe and G. W. Digman was the Commander. The letter is dated Feb. 20, 1913. The purpose of the letter is to inquire about prices on blank applications. The answer was 100 applications for $1.75. The Society had Masonic influence as well as Biblical and Arthurian Legend influences. It is felt it was a splinter group of the Knights of Pythias.
