Jennifer DeAnn White

Jennifer DeAnn White, age 39 years, a resident of Parsons, WV departed this life Saturday morning April 9, 2016, at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa with her family by her side. She had been in declining health for the past five years.
She was born Tuesday, September 21, 1976 at Parsons, WV a daughter of Gary Chris and Kathryn Carol Shaver White. She had never married. Also surviving are one sister, Crystal Dawn White Morgan and husband Carl of Fork Mountain; grandmother, Nancy Shaver; three nephews, Bristol and Rubious Petrice, and Michael Morgan; and two nieces, Mary-Jane, and Peggy Dawn Petrice.
Preceding her in death are one brother, Gary David White; and grandparents, William and Julia White, Charlie and Georgia Young, and Charlie Shaver.
She was a graduate of Tucker County High School with the Class of 1994 and attended Marshall University for two and one half years, studying Ministry and Archaeology. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Parsons. She had a great sense of humor, was an avid reader, and loved having tea parties with her nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday. Final rites were conducted at the funeral home, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. The Rev. David Fuller officiated and interment followed at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, WV. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements for Jennifer DeAnn White.
