Margaret Alice “Peggy” Arnold

Margaret Alice “Peggy” Arnold, 86, of Cortland Acres, Thomas, WV passed away February 5, 2016. She was born November 18, 1929 in Parsons, WV a daughter of the late Norman A. and Dove Luflin Pine. She was preceded in death by her husband Darl E. Arnold, son, Ronnie Arnold, infant son, Johnnie Arnold and 3 brothers, Marvin, Tip and Darl Pine. Survivors include 1 son, Walter Arnold, Thomas, WV, brothers-in-law, Gene Wilt and Don Matthews both of Oakland, MD, sisters in-law, Erma Smelser, Winchester, VA, Catherine Pine, Parsons, WV, 2 grandchildren, Brian Arnold and Ronnie E. Arnold, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

“Peggy” was a homemaker who enjoyed making quilts and playing bingo. She was a member of the Maple Grove Assembly of God Church of Eglon, WV.

Friends were received on Saturday February 6 at Hinkle Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. and on Sunday February 7 at the Maple Grove Assembly of God Church from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. the funeral hour with Rev. Shaun Roberts officiating. Interment followed in the Accident Cemetery in Eglon, WV. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. hinklefuneralhome.com
