Richard B. Hill

Richard B. Hill, resident of Bowie, MD, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at his residence.

Richard was born on January 7, 1939 in Parsons, WV and was the son of the late Harold C. Hill (Mike) and Mary Blackman Hill. He was an avid fisherman, had a great love of the outdoors, wildlife and music. He retired from a lifelong career at NSA (National Security Agency), the family enjoyed extensive travel and lived abroad.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Hill of Bowie, MD; loving daughter Dixie Jo McTighe and husband Brian of Bowie, MD; devoted son, Michael David Hill and wife, Julie Ann of Stevensville, MD; dear brother, William Hill and wife Helene of Crofton, MD; five cherished grandchildren (his greatest joy) Connor and Kellan McTighe, Paige, Jenna and Evan Hill; several much loved nieces, nephews and extended family members. Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 11:00am at the Parsons City Cemetery, Parsons, WV.
