Wanda Lee Corbin ,89, of Kempton, MD passed away June 27 at her home.

She was born June 10, 1925 in Kempton, MD a daughter of the late Claude and Gladys Gertrude Davis Corbin. She is survived by one son; David(Anne) Corbin, Woodbridge, VA, one brother; Bradley Corbin, Kempton, MD, two sisters; Carol(Daniel) Pase, Thomas, WV and Maxine Repetsky, Fairmont, WV. She was preceded in death by five brothers; Cork, Clete, Delmont, Putt, and Jack Corbin and one infant sister, Thelma Corbin.

Wanda enjoyed baking and cooking, she was known as the cookie lady in the Kempton community. Her hobbies included gardening and flowers. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed pets and being around kids and people. She was a very giving and caring person.

Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home on Saturday June 28 Funeral services were held at Hinkle Funeral Chapel on Sunday June 29 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ruth Bullwinkle officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
