Roland “Rollie” Frank Bohrer, 91, of New Martinsville, WV went to Paradise on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Rollie was born December 4, 1934, in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Curtis E. and Bessie (Higgins) Bohrer.

He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Bayer Corp., a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, member of the NRA, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the Steelton Church of Christ. He was also a football player during his college career at WVU 1952-1953.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-eight years, Betty Jo Bohrer, and son, Michael R. Bohrer.

Surviving is his daughter, Terri (Andrew) Snyder of Davis, WV; three grandchildren, Leah Kay (Nick) Senecal of Powell, OH, Shyla Bohrer of Columbus, OH and Hannah (Evan) Supak of Davis, WV; two great grandchildren, Hayden and Raegan Senecal of Powell, OH; siblings, Duane “Whitey” (Katie) Bohrer of New Martinsville, WV, Patricia Metts of New Martinville, WV, and Lionel “Bud” Bohrer of Seattle, WA.

Friends received 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Friends received noon until time of service at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the Steelton Church of Christ, 69 E Thistle Dr., New Martinsville. Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Rollie’s memory, to Steelton Church of Christ, 69 E Thistle Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
