Terry Allen Bunnell

Terry Allen Bunnell, age 67 years, a resident of Parsons, WV, departed this life    Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his home, surrounded by family and under the care of WV Caring.  He had been in declining health.

He was born Tuesday, February 1, 1955 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Virgil Randolph Bunnell and Arlene Marie Bodkin Deets, who survives.  He was twice married.  First to Rhonda Jo Fincham, the Mother of his two sons, and who preceded him in death in 1988.  Second to Sandra Jean Collins, who preceded him in death in 2018, after twenty seven years together.

Also surviving are two sons, Joshua Allen Bunnell and Chanda of Parsons, and Dillon Levi Bunnell and Devin of Kerens; one step-daughter, Carrie and Jackie Allender of Kerens;  two brothers, Jack Bunnell and Linda of Gulf Breeze, Fla, and Randy Bunnell and DeeDee of Parsons; two sisters, Vickie Mason and Tom and Ann Pitzer and Buddy, all of Parsons; eight grandchildren, Aiden and Kassie Bunnell, Aurora, Averie, Draven, Dayton, Delainey, and Declan; two step-grandchildren, Haley and Wesley; one great granddaughter, River; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate Parsons High School with the Class of 1973.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Germany.    He was a Master Carpenter having, before his retirement, worked for Roberts Estate.  Terry was an avid sports fan, Dale Earnhardt fan and NASCAR, and Duke Basketball.  His favorite pastime was sitting at the picnic table, visiting with family and friends and listening to music.

Terry’s request for cremation was honored and a Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at St. George Park on May 21, 2022.  The hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. for initial family and 4 to 8 p.m. for friends and family.  The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Terry Allen Bunnell.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at; www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com.
