Victor J. Ujcic, 94, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Davis WV, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at his home.

Ujcic,Victor.obituarypictureUjcic,Victor.obituarypictureBorn November 5, 1919 in Davis, WV, he was a son of the late Mike and Ursula (Gerl) Ujcic.

Mr. Ujcic was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during WWII. He was a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro, MD, and the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC). He was an avid football watcher and loved carpentry, home improvement projects, camping, playing cards, visiting Davis, WV and loved spending time with his family.

Victor is survived by his wife, Ruth Ujcic; son, Mike Ujcic; daughters, Vicki Fearey (Malcolm) and Robin Ujcic-Snyder (Steve); sister, Edith Thompson; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Olga Kirk, Mary Green and Sophie Clelland; and his brother, Stanley Ujcic.

A memorial service in the Davis, WV is pending to take place in June.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lazarus United Church of Christ Rebuild Fund, 5101 S. Church St., Lineboro, MD 21102 or at www.lazaruschurch.org; or Compassionate Care Hospice, 2449 S Queen St, York, PA 17402.
