Wayne Lee Wilcox, Jr., 53, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Wilcox was born in 1960, in Yuba City, California, the son of Wayne L Wilcox, Sr. and Eileen Day. Mr. Wilcox was a graduate of Mountaineer Senior High School, Class of 1978. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Wilcox was a former Senior Quality Assurance Inspector with Orbital Sciences in Sterling, Virginia. He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving with his parents are his step-parents, Richard L. Day and Nancy L. Wilcox; four sons, Geddy Lee Stuart of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Cory Lee Wilcox of Winchester, Virginia, Jeremy Lee Wilcox and Brandon Lee Wilcox both of Ashburn, Virginia; step sister, Lisa Cousin and her husband, Robert of Davis, West Virginia; two grandchildren; his brother, Jim Wilcox of Owings, Maryland; aunt, Karen New of South Carolina; uncle, Glenn C. Wilcox and his wife, Joan of Thomas, West Virginia; niece, Brittany Cousin; nephew, John Cousin; and numerous cousins.

All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
