Students interested in pursuing healthcare careers can receive scholarship assistance from the Davis Health System Foundation.
The Davis Health System Foundation Scholarship Fund, an endowment fund established in 2017, provides an annual scholarship for education in a health-related field to students in Randolph, Barbour, Tucker, Pocahontas, Upshur and Webster counties. The first scholarship will be awarded in 2018 at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Davis Health System Foundation.
“The Tucker Community Foundation is pleased to assist in the establishment of the Davis Health System Foundation Scholarship Fund,” said Robert Burns, executive director for the Tucker Community Foundation. “The Davis Health System Foundation Scholarship Fund was one of four funds formally approved by the board of directors of the Tucker Community Foundation during the January meeting.”
