The Davis-Thomas Middle School Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams opened the season last Friday December 1st at home against Rowlesburg.
In the first contest the Lady Bears picked up the win by the final score of 24-14. Nevaeh Nichols led Davis-Thomas with 17 points, 4 rebounds and Skyler Canon added 6 points in the win.
The Davis-Thomas Boys’ team also picked up the victory in the second contest of the night by the final score of 59-32. Harper Russell led the Bears with 14 points and Zaden White added 12 points, 6 rebounds for Davis-Thomas in the win. Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ teams will host East Hardy on Thursday December 7th and then both teams will travel to Romney on Monday December 11th.
