DAVIS-THOMAS GIRLS’ & BOYS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Moorefield on Thursday January 11th. In the Girls’ contest the Lady Bears fell in the game by the final score of 31-9.


Davis-Thomas was led by Nevaeh Nichols with 7 points and Katelyn Simmons added 2 points for the Lady Bears in the loss. In the Boys’ JV contest Davis-Thomas lost by the final score 34-16. Justin Robeson led Davis-Thomas with 10 points while Maddox Anderson, Aaron Quattro and Nick Roth added 2 points each in the Bears loss. In the last game of the night the Varsity team got the win in their contest 30-24. Harper Russell led the Bears in scoring with 10 points and Isaac Quattro added 8 points in the Davis-Thomas win.

On Saturday January 13th the Davis-Thomas teams hosted Capon Bridge. In the Girls’ contest the Lady Bears drop the game by the final score of 29-13. Nevaeh Nichols led Davis-Thomas with 9 points and Tory Paul added 4 points. In the JV contest Davis-Thomas took the victory by the final score of 42-24. Aaron Quattro led Davis-Thomas with 10 points and Nick Roth added 9 points. In the varsity contest Davis-Thomas got the win 61-50. Harper Russell led the Bears with 15 points and Blake Anderson had 14 points in the Davis-Thomas win.

The Lady Bears(1-10) and the Bears(10-2) will play Tucker Valley at TCHS on Saturday January 20th starting at 5pm and then they will travel to Petersburg on Tuesday January 23rd. For more info or complete schedules go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
