DAVIS-THOMAS GIRLS’ & BOYS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

The Davis-Thomas 8th Grade Basketball Players and Cheerleaders were recognized before the game on Jan 31st. On Monday January 29th the Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ JV Basketball teams hosted Kasson. In the Girls’ contest the Lady Bears lost in a close game by the final score of 27-26. Nevaeh Nichols led Davis-Thomas with 14 points and Katelyn Simmons added 6 points in the loss for Davis-Thomas. The JV Boys’ team got the victory over Kasson 49-46. Maddox Anderson led Davis-Thomas in scoring with 18 points and Mallikye Ware added 10 points in the Bears win.


The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Union on Wednesday January 31st. In the Girls’ contest the Lady Bears fell in the game by the final score of 33-21. Davis-Thomas was led by Nevaeh Nichols with 12 points and Katelyn Simmons added 6 points for the Lady Bears in the loss. In the Boys’ JV contest Davis-Thomas took home the win by the final score of 51-8. Maddox Anderson led Davis-Thomas with 12 points and Justin Robeson added 11 points for the Bears in the win. In the varsity game Davis-Thomas got the win 47-28. Zaden White had 22 points to lead Davis-Thomas and Harper Russell chipped in 10 points for the Bears in the win.
