Davis-Thomas Girls’ & Boys’ Basketball Update

THOMAS – The Davis-Thomas Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Petersburg on Thursday January 2nd. In the first contest the Davis-Thomas JV team fell in a close game by the score of 43-41. The Bears JV were led in scoring by Keelyn Eichelberger with 15 points and Logan Shahan added 12 points in the Davis-Thomas JV loss. In the second game of the evening the Davis-Thomas varsity team picked up the win by the final score of 68-50. Maddox Anderson led Davis-Thomas with 25 points and Justin Robeson added 15 points in the Bears win.

FRANKLIN – The Lady Bears Basketball teams traveled to Pendleton County for 2 games on Friday January 3rd. In the JV game Davis-Thomas picked up the win by the final score of 28-24. Raven Matthews led the Davis-Thomas JV with 10 points and Kelslynn Whitehair added 7 points in the JV win. The Davis-Thomas Girls’ varsity team fell in their contest by the score of 36-26. Davis-Thomas was led in scoring by Rachel Felton with 10 points and Kiley Hebb added 7 points in the Lady Bears loss.

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ will return to action tonight Wednesday January 8th at home against Moorefield. The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ will then host Union on January 13th. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
