On Tuesday, December 10th, the Davis Thomas Boys Basketball team traveled to Moorefield to take on the Moorefield Yellow Jackets. The Bears would trail with a score of 7-2 at the end of the first and 17-4 going into the break. DT would find the basket more in the second half scoring 12 points through the final two quarters. The Bears fell with a score of 40-16 in favor of Moorefield. DT was led on the night by Jarrett Dearborn with 7 points and 5 points from Nolan Luzier. The Bears then traveled to Harman on Thursday, December 12th. The Bears got down early with a score of 14-2 at the end of the first quarter. DT would find the basket more in the second quarter and the score was 23- 10 Moorefield at the break. The Bears would never make up the difference in the second half with the final score being 43-34, Harman. Jarrett Dearborn led the Bears in scoring with 14 points, Nolan Luzier had 9 points and Kevin Kerr finished with 8 points. DT has a busy week ahead with games on December 16th at home vs. Union at 7:00 pm, December 19th at Belington Middle, with a start time of 7:00 pm and on December 21st at 3:00pm at TCHS gym vs. Tucker Valley.
