The Davis Thomas Lady Bears made the trip to Moorefield on Tuesday, December 10th, to take on the Lady Yellow Jackets. Davis Thomas got out to a 1-point lead after the end of the first quarter with a score of 8-7. In the second period only 3 points total were scored, 1 by DT and 2 by Moorefield pushing the score out to a tied ball game 9-9 going into halftime. Moorefield would outscore the Lady Bears in the third quarter taking a 4-point lead into the final quarter with a score of 18-14. The Lady Yellow Jackets would hold onto the lead to finish the game with a final score of 22-17. Davis Thomas was led in scoring by Addy Johnson with 7 points. Morgan Simmons added 5 points and Emma Thompson contributed 4 points. The Lady Bears will host Union on Monday, December 16th, at 6:00 pm, travel to Belington Thursday, December 19th, at 5:00 pm and take on Tucker Valley Saturday, the 21st at TCHS gym at 1:00 pm.
