Eighth grade night and Breast Cancer Awareness for final Tucker Valley home game

cheerleadersThe Tucker Valley Cheerleaders donned pink bows and the football players pink socks to support Breast Cancer Awareness. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The cheerleaders honored Davis Thomas teacher, Lisa Anderson, at halftime. Lisa has been battling breast cancer since January of this year. She says the support from the community is overwhelming and she is forever grateful.
For several boys and girls it was the last time they suited up for a home wildcat football game. Tucker Valley 8th graders were recognized before the start of the game. The 8th grade football players are: Trevor Adams, Kevin Barb, Isaac Bennett, Josh Calloway, Hunter Elza, Jeremy Liller, Taylor and Tanner Long, Gus Mullenex, Braxton Parks, Robby Shupp, Bode Shockley, Ethan Stanley. The football team had two water girl/staff helpers. Abby Eakle from Davis Thomas and Elaina Smallwood from Tucker Valley. There were eight 8th grade cheerleaders recognized at the game: Kyleigh Barrett, Morghan Black, Averie Bunnell, Caitlyn Eye, Emma Jo Hockman, Morgan Key, Autumn Knotts, Emma Wamsley.
