Last Monday, December 16th, the Lady Bears of Davis Thomas, took on the Union Tigers. The Lady Bears jumped out early to a 14-2 lead over the Tigers at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Bears would double their point total taking a 28-11 lead into the half. A huge 16-point third quarter would propel DT to a 44-13 advantage at the end of the third. Davis Thomas would get the win on the night with the eventual final score of 50-17 over Union. The Lady Bears were led in scoring by Addy Johnson who had 18 points and Morgan Simmons poured in 16 points. DT will travel to Tygarts Valley on Monday. January 3, 2025, to take on the Bulldogs at 5 pm.
